Proof #246 of LGBTQ Mental Illness: Scientific Conflict

Including therapists, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, clinical psychologists, psychologists, and psychiatrists, there are over 200 different types of mental health professional.  Each of these types of mental health professional are, in turn, divided into subtypes.  All of the different types of mental health professional disagree on a variety of principles and issues.

The following chart lists some classes of mental health professional, how many subtypes exist within each class, and how many differing viewpoints members of each class hold within each class on the subject of LGBTQs (lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, transgenders, and queers [queers are sexually abnormal people who do not fall into one of the four preceding sexually abnormal groups.])  Note that 63% of all mental health professionals believe that LGBTQs are mentally ill, though they disagree as to the nature and severity of the mental illness. Also, 90% of the remaining mental health professionals are LGBTQs, that is, 90% of those who believe LGBTQs are not mentally ill are, themselves, LGBTQs. Wow, what a surprise!

Conclusion

The mental health community disagrees with itself on a whole lot but the majority of the community agrees that LGBTQs are mentally ill. Also, the diagreement proves that views favoring LGBTQs as being normal are not established science.
